Navigating the Recruitment Process as an Asian-Canadian Law Student
Part 2: Mock Interviews

Calling all Asian-Canadian law students! FACL BC is pleased to present the second part of the series - Navigating the Recruitment Process as an Asian-Canadian Law Student: Mock Interviews.
The event will kick-off with a panel discussion with legal employers of various sizes and practice areas, providing tips for success when going through the interview in the recruitment process. After learning about the best practices for interviewees, law students will have the opportunity to implement what they have just learned in a mock interview with legal practitioners from diverse fields of the law.
The event will begin with the panel discussion at 5:30pm on January 26 (with interviews following immediately afterwards), and additional interviews will begin at 5:30pm on January 27. Students will be registered for interview slots on January 26, and once all slots on January 26 are full, remaining students will be assigned to January 27. Each interview will last for 30 minutes, and there will be one interview per student. There is a possibility that students will be able to have two rounds of mock interviews, and if this is the case, a lottery system will be used to choose those students. Preference will be given to second year students.
