Associate Director

Meet our 2024-2025 Associate Director! The Associate Director position was newly created this year, thanks to grant funding offered by the Law Foundation of BC. The Associate Director will work closely with our Board of Directors and Executive Coordinators to fulfill FACL BC's mission of promoting equity, justice and opportunity for Asian Canadian legal professionals and the broader community.

Taja De Silva is an experienced writer, illustrator, and communications professional with over two years of experience working within the legal field. She enjoys skiing, reading, and absolutely loves her grandma ("Auwa")'s cooking. Taja is also passionate about mental health and a volunteer for the BC Crisis Center, among other organizations.

Executive Coordinators

Meet our 2024-2025 Executive Coordinators! Executive Coordinators are BC law students that work closely with our Board of Directors to fulfill FACL BC's mission of promoting equity, justice and opportunity for Asian Canadian legal professionals and the broader community. Our Executive Coordinators provide administrative, communications, and logistical support.

Felicia Sit (she/her) is a third year law student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. She enjoys reading novels, attending 2000s-themed spin classes, and experimenting in the kitchen (cue explosive kombucha).

Jerika Caduhada (she/her) is going into her third year of law at the University of Victoria. When she is not exploring the intersections of storytelling and social change, she is pursuing her life goal of indulging in as much dessert and tropical fruit as possible.

Jocelyn Toledo (she/her) recently completed her first year as a JD student at the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Law. In her spare time, she likes finding new places to eat, hopefully with a dog-friendly patio so she can bring her miniature pinscher, Bowser, along.
