In collaboration with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (British Columbia) Society (FACL BC), Ascend Vancouver is excited to host our third partnership event: A Magical Summer Social.
The event will provide Ascend and FACL members (or those interested in becoming members!) the opportunity to connect and reconnect during a fun filled evening that includes a virtual magic show, great door prizes and a networking session.
The evening will kick off with a 30 min virtual magic show performed by locally renowned, 3-time award winning magician and entertainer Kel (see bio below). Enjoy this virtual show with your family and friends plus learn a magic trick from Kel to impress others!
Then we will continue with a (professionals only) networking session. This is a great opportunity to connect within the pan-asian business and legal communities.
Door prizes will be given out after the networking session so make sure to stay until the end!
Speaker's Bio:
Kel has been performing magic professionally for over 16 years. Through intense devotion for magic, Kel continues everyday honing and practicing his craft with surgical precision. He is a recipient of multiple awards by the Vancouver Magic Circle including “Magician of the Year” by the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring #92 for excellence in Stage, close-up, and card magic.
Kel is inspired to create a magical experience of wonder and mystery, and has been crowned the Murray award and the Creativity award for the year 2020 voted by the executive of the Fraser Valley Magic circle and the Vancouver Magic Circle for excellence in creativity.
Event Time:
5:00 – 6:15 pm PST (Virtual Session)
This event will start with a magic show, and will be followed by a networking session (for professionals only).
Attendees are strongly recommended to log in 10 minutes prior to ensure technology is functioning properly.
