Happy Lunar New Year to all!
Is learning to cook a new Asian dish one of your new year's resolutions? Or are you just "feline" hungry? Not to worry, FACL BC has got you covered - we are excited to present our second annual Lunar New Year cooking class: FACL-inary Arts: Cooking for the Year of the Tiger on Sunday, February 6 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. The Vancouver Sun recently featured this upcoming event in its article, “Cooking evokes family memories for Lunar New Year”.
Our very own Stephanie Lo and Jim Wu, resident expert homecooks, are going to teach everyone how to make green onion pancakes and Hainanese chicken (plus all three traditional dipping sauces with this dish). Our class will be conducted via Zoom and the ingredients list will be forwarded to the registrants three days before the class. Look forward to seeing you all there!
