Meet our Hosts
Seema Lal is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Construction and Infrastructure practice group, and member of the Commercial and Business Litigation practice group at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. Seema is focused on the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts, procurement issues, builders’ liens, disputes; and construction dispute resolution, including claims for extras and delays. She provides strategic legal advice to assist her clients in making informed and effective legal and business decisions. Through her practice and involvement in industry associations, she has built up an in-depth understanding of the construction sector and the unique issues facing its stakeholders.
Cen Yang is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation, Construction, and Insurance Practice Groups at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. She maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on commercial and workplace disputes, creditor/debtor remedies, insurance defence, and construction litigation. Cen has represented both corporate and individual clients in trials, arbitrations, and mediations on a variety of legal issues. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, and provides legal services in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Cen is also a FACL BC Board Director.
