Calling all Asian-Canadian law students! FACL BC is pleased to bring back mock interviews for its student members. This online mock interview event will provide student members the opportunity to further prepare for OCIs and receive interview feedback in a friendly setting.
The event will begin with a panel discussion where panelists will discuss their personal experiences going through the structured recruit. Students will then have the opportunity to experience it themselves and go through a mock interview with legal practitioners from diverse fields of the law.
This event will be held over two days. The schedule for the event is:
September 3
- Panel: 5:00 - 5:40 PM
- Interview Slot 1: 5:45 - 6:15 PM
- Interview Slot 2: 6:20 - 6:50 PM
September 4
- Interview Slot 3: 5:30 - 6:00 PM
- Interview Slot 4: 6:10 - 6:40 PM
Students may choose to participate in just the panel or in both the panel and the mock interviews. Students who register for the mock interviews will be scheduled into one of the 4 interview slots. We ask that you keep your schedule open for all 4 possible interview slots, and you will be notified later which slot you are registered to 2 days prior to the event with a zoom link.
Each interview will last for approximately 20 minutes with 10 minutes for feedback, and there will be one interview per student.
Students have until August 29 at 5:00 pm to register.
This event is only available for FACL BC members. Membership is free for students. You can sign up for a free student membership here.
