We invite you to join us for our President's Picnic and Board Info Session on Saturday, July 4, 2025, from 12:00 - 2:30 PM. Whether you are a longstanding member or new to FACL BC, we look forward to see you there.
Venue: Memorial South Park, picnic area by the pond (Google Maps) by 41st and Prince Albert Street.
Attire: Weekend casual
Please bring something small for yourself and to share with 3-4 people, and make a note of it here.
In addition to the picnic, our board members will be available to chat with those interested in joining us as a director or as a volunteer. Discover upcoming initiatives, gain a deeper understanding of our organization, and explore ways to contribute your skills and perspectives to our community. A friendly reminder that the board nomination submission is due on Thursday, July 9 at 6:00 PM, and the Annual General Meeting is on Thursday, July 23 at 5:00 PM.
This event is open to all - family and friends are welcome. To help reduce waste, you are encouraged to bring your own tupperware, cutlery, and drinkware. If there are any weather updates, we will provide an update on our event page accordingly.
While this event is complimentary, we kindly request that you inform us of any changes to your RSVP as a courtesy to our organizing committee and other potential attendees. Timely notification of any changes ensures efficient planning and helps us maintain the quality of our events.
