Calling all Asian-Canadian law students! FACL BC is pleased to bring back mock interviews for its student members. This online mock interview event will provide student members the opportunity to further prepare for OCIs and receive interview feedback in a friendly setting.
The event will begin with a panel discussion where panelists will discuss their personal experiences going through the structured recruit. Students will then have the opportunity to experience it themselves and go through a mock interview with legal practitioners from diverse fields of the law.
This event will be held over two days. The schedule for the event is:

Students may choose to participate in just the panel or in both the panel and the mock interviews. Students who register for the mock interviews will be scheduled into one of the 4 interview slots. We ask that you keep your schedule open for all 4 possible interview slots. You will be notified of the slot you are registered to, 2 days prior to the event, with a zoom link.
Each interview will last for approximately 20 minutes with 10 minutes for feedback, and there will be one interview per student.
Students have until August 28 at 5:00 pm to register.
This event is only available for FACL BC members. Membership is free for students. You can sign up for a free student membership here.
Note: In order to participate in the event, please submit your resume (max 2 pages), with any information you would not like to share redacted, in a PDF format to this Google Form by September 2, 2026 (your resume will be shared with the lawyers who have volunteered as interviewers). Resumes over 2 pages will not be accepted.

Timely notification of any changes ensures efficient planning and helps us maintain the quality of our events. Please note that unexplained absences or repeated no-shows to FACL BC events may affect your ability to attend future complimentary events.
